Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick - Rossetto

When buying foundation in Superdrug the other day I noticed they had the '3 for 2' offers they seem to do every few months or so, as i was already buying 2 foundations i thought i may as well take advantage of the free offer but as their was nothing I had my eye on I could decide what to buy, then out my eye I noticed the Kate Moss lipstick collection and realised how in love I was with them. A while ago I had been in Tescos with my ex boyfriend and I had seen the Rosette Kate Moss lipstick advertised in Cosmopolitan but couldn't find it ANYWHERE and ended up peeing my boyfriend off by moaning so much about it, so I was super happy about finding the Rosette in Superdrug, plus even more happier because it was free and who dosnt love a freebie?

I absolutely LOVE the design of the Kate Moss lipstick collection. I love the sleek simpleness of it, the black casing and the red signature I think give it a nice classic look for a really affordable price.

Although the shade dosnt 'pop' compared to some of the other Kate Moss shades the pink creamy colour is perfect for wearing during the day when you're wearing minimalist make up or perfect for a day in the office as it isn't as over stated as some shades. The rich creaminess of this lipstick feels lovely on the lips and is so moustrising it feels like a lip balm as opposed to some drug store brands which seem to dry the lips out quite often. The staying power however isn't the most amazing - about 5 hours, but for the price that is to be expected.

Personally I love the Kate Moss lipstick collection and i cant wait to try out more of her shades.

Have you tried the Kate Moss lipstick line, what do you think and what's your favourite colour?

Leasa, xo.

Mini V Festival Haul

Hello fellow bbloggers,

This week has been so manic what with work and having to house sit for my parents and look after our dog plus finally getting the 4th tattoo I've been banging on about so much I've had hardly any time to actually be on my computer and come onto my blog but I made it my mission to post at least 3 entries a week and although I haven't managed to achieve that this week I'm sure I'll make up for it in future weeks.

Now unless you don't follow my twitter and haven't heard me banging on about it for the past 5 months or so but I'm going to V festival next week which I'm super excited about, we were meant to be going on a girly holiday to Kos but that didn't happen (long story) so we settled for another festival this year but i'm sure it's going to be amazing (booze + wellis + good music = IMMENSE).

Anyway as I got paid this week it meant i could go out Thursday after i had my tattoo session and get a few bits for V, as I didnt have enough time to get everything (toiletries, few more clothing items etc) that means i have excuse for another shopping trip, and hey who cant love any excuse to shop?!

Cheetah Print Wellis, Primark (£10); This is such a long story about wellis it even bores me telling it now. Basically for the past year or so i've been wanting a pair of Hunters for festivals etc but when it actually came down to it i thought is it really worth £90 or so for a pair that i'l only ever wear for 3 days of the year? No i didn't think so, so because i love animal print the minute i seen these i had to have them and for a tenner its such a bargain for such a cute print. Navy Vans, 2 Seasons (£45); However because i didnt buy the Hunters this gave me the perfect excuse to buy myself some new Vans to add to my fast growing collections of Vans and Converse

Camel & Neon Pink Blouse, H&M (£14.99); I love the colours of this top and when i was in the store the shape looked  perfect but once i got home i realised it didn't look right on me at all so i think this is once I shall be donating to charity as i lost the receipt. Cream Sweater, Primark (£8); I am absolutely in love with this sweater, been looking for a nice warm material sweater for a long time (I'm really fussy about knit wear) but once i seen this i absolutely fell in love and had to have it!!! Charcoal Grey and Black Jeggins, New Look (£12.99) I LOVE these jeggins they fit like an absolute dream giving EVERYONE that perfect Beyonce bum (especially in a pair of heels) the material on them is so super soft that it's like wearing a pair of leggins, you don't even notice they're on unlike that horrible stiffness you get with skinny jeans.

Black H&M basics dress (16.99); the minute i seen this dress i fell in love, the material is so lovely and soft plus i love the shape of it, the only thing i dont like is the high neck line but that can easily be sorted with a scarf. Green Peter Pan Collar Blouse, Primark (£8); usually i'm not a fan of these type of blouses as they do nothing what so ever to flatter my awkward shaped body but i feel in love with this color and thought it would look lovely with high waisted shorts or a pair of simple black leggins, lovely top to lounge around in. Flower Print Play Suit, Primark (£10); I always complain that i never have enough play-suits so when i see ones that i like i always have to snap them up and this is so cute, its not the most flattering of shapes but nothing a nice camel coloured belt cant fix!

Tropical Print Play Suit, Primark (£7); Now im pretty sure this play suit is meant to be used as a bikini cover up on the beach but i loved the print so much that i had to buy it as the last one they had in store was in my size, I'm sure it will look completely fine with a pair of white converse or vans, i love how bright and stand out it is!! Black High Waisted Shorts, River Island (£29); I absolutely love high waisted shorts, especially because of the large hips I have I think they do wonders to cover up hip imperfections plus I've been on a hunt for a black pair of high waisted shorts for a vv long time so had to pick these up the minute i seen them. Berty Basset Shorts, Melody (£20); This black and white strip print has been so huge last season and its taken me a while to jump on the wagon but once i seen these shorts i had to buy them, they're not even called Berty Basset shorts as far as I'm aware but I call them that purely because the print reminds me of the little man who is on the packets of Berty Basset Sweets, haha childish I know ;)

One Piece Dupe, New Look (£15.99) I've seen a lot of stores suddenly doing replicas of the 'One Pieces' having been a member of the 'Onesie' hype last year i had to have a replica One Piece and i love it, so comfy and cool unlike a onesie, only problem with is the fact that i picked up a S and i can hardly fit into it which means i'l have to go back for an exchange next time i'm in town. Burgundy Basic Top, New Look (£7.99); dosnt need much explanation, this top + skinny jeans + highest heels you own = simple pulling outfit ;). Crystal Leaf Shaped Headband, Shopping Centre Stall (£4); recently my shopping centre has this really cute stall in it that sells little pieces of jewellery and once i seen this i had to have it, I'm like a magpie i love anything sparkly!!! plus its perfect for work.

Face Mask Monday

Bonjourno,

This is only my first actual beauty post and I know i'l have done a lot of beauty blog 'faux pas' but bare with me and hopefully I will learn along the way.

Now I know theirs this thing called 'Face Mask Friday' in the beauty blog world but Hey I like to be different and I'd rather do any type of face mask at the beginning of the week in order to restore my face from all the make up that would have been caked on it from the weekend, and believe me thats a lot of damage!!

Now I love face masks and I'l be the first to admit that I don't take as best care for my skin as what i should e.g. those cheeky Saturday nights where you fall asleep from a drunken night out and havnt totally wiped all that stubborn make up off, but that's what I love about face masks usually if you find a good one they can restore a bit of the damage. Theirs nothing better than shopping in Superdrug, Boots etc and buying a handful of face masks to try out but recently I have found a lot of the brands in Boots/Superdrug to just not have that kind of shazam I've been looking for. However, one day when browsing through Home Bargains of all places I came across these beautiful Asian inspired face masks in such lovely professional looking packaging. The one i picked up was 'Facial Cream Mask - Lemon Peel Off' Now whether they're as good as they look and have all the nice properties they claim to have I dont know, but for 69p who can go wrong.

What the face mask says?; 'Lemon Cream Mask is bursting with reviving properties that help to clean, tone and rejuvenate skin. Lemon, Rosemary and other botanical extracts give you instantly smother, clearer and refreshed skin'

After applying the face mask the first thing i noticed was the heavenly smell that it gave off. Imagine the smell you get from a fresh baked Lemon Drizzle Cake, exactly that!! I did notice however how quickly you have to act when using this mask, it seems to start hardening almost straight away once it comes into contact with the skin making it all taunt. Now I love the feeling of peel off masks and how it feels when your skin is all tight, it feels like your skin is going through a renew process but this felt a little bit too tight, but maybe that's a good thing and its penetration into the pores to get rid of all the nastiness.

After the 20 minutes were up it felt so good to actually take the mask off but I noticed compared to other masks it pulled the skin an awful lot an only way i can describe as sticking selotape to your face. On the whole though I really liked this mask and afterwards my skin felt so lovely, clean and fresh. I think i will definitely have to give the rest of the range a go and for only 69p you can probably buy the whole range for less than £6.

What do you think of the Refresh and Revive range, any good or just a cheap sham? Would love to know your opinions.

Ciao Bellas.

Start of something new.

Bonjouno,

So happy i'm starting to get to hang of this blogging thing and how to set things up etc, it's taken me so long to actually be able to [personalize anything of a blog that i'm actually happy I've started getting to craic of it. Always wanted to start my own beauty blog, seen so many lovelys from twitter with one and always wished so hard i could do one but I've just never had the time or know how to but I've decided its time to dive right in and just learn along the way. Now bare with me it's going to take a while and hopefully you'll all stick around on the journey with me. I started this blog to share my love for beauty products mainly but also my interest in fashion and shoes (heels, love them!!). I wanted to review the thousands of products I use from my many shopping sprees, and to chat to other lovely people who have the same interests as me (beauty, fashion etc!) So for now i really hope you can spare some sympathy and patience for a new blogger trying to find her way around the blogging community. By the way Instagram is my best friend so expect a lot of my pictures to be filteres through instagram (unless trying to capture the color of products)

Ciao Bellas, Leasa.
